Four million Canadians have a criminal record. Cardus research has shown that having a good job is an important part of helping these Canadians re-establish their lives and stay away from crime.

Unfortunately, having a criminal record can make it very difficult for a person to find good employment. Part of the problem is that the criminal record only tells a part of a person’s story. It can obscure the human person who is the subject of the criminal record.

Cardus has proposed specific, actionable policies that would help people with criminal records find employment. Join us for this webinar as we explore these policies and hear reflections from our special guest, Stacey Palmer, president of Prison Fellowship Canada.
